All of the wooden pens, pencils and bottle stoppers are finished with cyanoacrylate and boiled linseed oil, then polished for the final finish. This is as hard a finish as can be done and should last virtually forever. The pen and pencil sets are made from adjacent pieces of wood from the same board to provide the best grain match possible. The bottle stoppers are stainless steel with a silicon stopper, so they will not corrode like chrome or gold plated bottle stoppers.
